Copic Markers!!!
Decided to take a break from book four since I am almost done with it and book three is completed and ready to go to the printer. My mother-in-law has been asking me to try Copic Markers for about a year now, but I have been resistant. She bought me a boat load of them for Christmas and I am hooked. I jumped on ahead to book seven to draw out a few pages. Book seven is the origins of the character Serf and how she came to be a cyborg guardian for Crimson Rosetta. The story will be told from her Academy room mate Giana. Since the story is about a time when Serf was more innocent and less experienced, I thought that a more cleaner look might be a good way to tell the story.
Page one
Kyle, Serf and Giana on their first mission out of the Academy.
With Serf as the leader, they were to put a stop to the growing number of Tellaxs gathering at the base of the Prayer Cliffs...the mission was to be an easy one...
The three new 'warriors' underestimated the combined strength of the Tellax...
Here is a close up of Giana so that you can see the marker lines and pencils and stuff...

Book Three
While waiting for Book One to come back from the printer, KA-BLAM, I finished Book Two, as stated below, and started Book Three. Book One was black and white ink with acrylic while Book Two was all watercolor. Book Three will be all graphite blended with paint thinner and some minor touches of red oil pastel.
